Diana Polkinghorne
Born in Kenya and educated in England, with vocational
training in France and Switzerland, I am used to
working in multicultural environments. I came to
Germany in 1982 and, since this time, have built
up extensive knowledge in my swiss watches capacity as a freelance
translator. Through close to nine years experience
as a translator in a bank, three years of which
as manager of its language services team, I have
gained intimate knowledge of the demands and requirements
placed on translators who work to the highest standards
and the tight deadlines of their customers.
